All drawings and specs of the LARC, including service manuals which we can include with the sale and we can even provide a maintenance service. We also can build NEW ones with simplified Hybrid Diesel Electric propulsion and even remote controlled.
The 4 NEW engines we have imported from the UK Ministry of Defense, are Rolls-Royce Eagle 305 – 12.1L displacement, six in-line turbocharged military truck engines equipped with 15CFM air compressors, 90Amp alternator, power steering hydraulic pump and 24V starter. Very best Diesel in the world, with parts readily available through any Perkins Diesel.
The engines can be changed on request to Cummins or CAT engines
Important to mention, that this is one of only 3 units completely rebuilt and updated with hydraulic propulsion by the Army in 1997, at a cost of 2.5M USD with a 102 hours since the rebuilt.
The original price and the conversion together amounted to 10,000,000 USD
